Sadhguru Sainath Maharaj Sadhana

Shirdi Sai Baba seated in Dwarkamai, radiating calm Guru presence and assurance through his eleven sacred promises.

Before you begin, pause.

Let your breath soften.
Let the mind release its demands.
Let the heart become simple.

You are not beginning a ritual.
You are entering a relationship.

This Sādhana is an invocation of Sadhguru Sainath Maharaj
the Guru who walks with householders,
the Fakir who listens in silence,
the Master who promised never to abandon His own.

Sai Baba is not memory.
Sai Baba is presence.

Ganesh & Guru Vandana — Opening the Door of Grace

Every true journey begins with the remover of unseen knots —
Shri Ganesh, guardian of thresholds and inner clarity.

Invoke Shri Ganesh

As the chant flows, feel resistance loosening.
A quiet confidence arising.
The sense that something benevolent is already at work.

Now bow to the eternal Guru principle —
the Guru-tattva that took form in Shirdi as Sai Baba.

Invoke Guru-Tattva

Let this bow be inward —
not to a form, but to the force that guides your life from within.

Sai Dhyāna — Entering Baba’s Living Presence

Sai Baba’s presence is quiet, grounded, and deeply personal.
He does not overwhelm.
He waits.

He meets you exactly where you are —
as a seeker, a doubter, a householder, a devotee.

Close your eyes and visualize:

Baba seated in Dwarkamai.
The earthen floor.
The steady flame.
Eyes filled with compassion — and reassurance.

Say inwardly:

“Baba, I have come.”

Remain here for a few breaths.
Let His nearness be felt — without asking anything.

Sai Mantra Sādhana — Chanting the Guru’s Name

From Dhyāna, gently move into Naam-Smarana.

This mantra is not for effort or display.
It is for trust.

Chant slowly, with the breath:

ॐ साईं नमो नमः

श्री साईं नमो नमः
जय जय साईं नमो नमः
सद्गुरु साईं नमो नमः

Recommended Practice

  • Chant 3 to 5 malas daily
  • Choose one count and stay with it consistently
  • Do not rush or force the chant

3 malas establish steadiness and emotional grounding.
5 malas allow the mind to soften and surrender more deeply.

If fatigue arises, reduce — never strain.
Sai Baba responds to bhāv, not numbers.

Let the sound flow naturally.
If thoughts arise, return gently to the Name.

Over time, the mantra will begin to chant you.

The Eleven Vachanas — Receiving Baba’s Living Assurances

The 11 Vachanas are not verses to be admired.
They are promises spoken by a living Guru.

Recite them slowly.
After each Vachana, pause and reflect.

Vachana 1

Whoever comes to Shirdi, their troubles will flee.

Reflection:
Baba, I come to You — not as a visitor, but as a child.

Vachana 2

Whoever climbs the steps of my Samadhi will crush sorrow underfoot.

Reflection:
Baba, let my pride bow — and my burdens dissolve.

Vachana 3

Though I may leave my body, I will always run to help my devotees.

Reflection:
Baba, I trust You beyond form and time.

Vachana 4

Keep firm faith; my Samadhi will fulfill your hopes.

Reflection:
Baba, steady my faith when it wavers.

Vachana 5

Know that I am always alive — experience this truth.

Reflection:
Baba, let me experience You, not just believe.

Vachana 6

Show me anyone who came to my refuge and went away empty.

Reflection:
Baba, I place everything at Your feet.

Vachana 7

As the devotee feels toward me, so do I respond.

Reflection:
Baba, purify my feeling and intention.

Vachana 8

Your burden is mine; my word will never be false.

Reflection:
Baba, I release what I can no longer carry.

Vachana 9

Come, take my help in abundance; what you seek is near.

Reflection:
Baba, remove my hesitation in asking You.

Vachana 10

One who merges mind, speech, and action in me — I am forever indebted to them.

Reflection:
Baba, align my life with Your remembrance.

Vachana 11

Blessed is the devotee who seeks no refuge but me.

Reflection:
Baba, let my refuge be simple and sincere.

Sai Naam Smarana — Sealing the Sādhana

Now gently return to the simple Name:

साईं दत्त

Sāī Datta

Let it repeat without effort.
Let it dissolve into silence.

Silent Abidance — Living With Baba

Sit quietly for a few minutes.

Feel Baba not in front of you —
but with you.

In your breath.
In your actions.
In your everyday life.

This is how Sai Baba fulfills His promises —
not loudly, but faithfully.

The Fruits of This Sādhana

Practiced with sincerity, this Sādhana nurtures:

  • Trust that does not collapse
  • Faith that survives delay
  • Guidance without confusion
  • Protection without fear
  • A quiet sense of being held

Because when you invoke Sadhguru Sainath Maharaj,
you invoke the Guru who said:

“Why fear, when I am here?”

And He meant it — forever.

Jai Ganesh • Jai Guru Datta • Jai Sadhguru Sainath Maharaj
