Namaste,
My name is Aadi.

I do not place my name above the words shared here — only beside them — because what truly matters is not the writer, but the Guru presence that moves through the writing. Names belong to the world of form, yet it is the formless pull of Guru Datta and Shri Ganesh that has drawn you and me to this shared space of remembrance.

This blog is a humble offering born from my own seeking. Over the years, I’ve felt a deep inner call — first toward Guru Dattatreya, the embodiment of the Guru principle itself, and then toward Shri Ganesh, especially in His deeper, often lesser-spoken forms. They entered my life not as concepts, but as living, guiding presences — sometimes gentle, sometimes unsettling, always transformative.

I am not a scholar, nor a teacher. I am simply a seeker, walking slowly, often imperfectly, along the path. This space reflects that journey — the name chants I hold close, the sadhanas I attempt, the questions I wrestle with, and the grace that arrives unannounced. It is a journal of devotion, but also of lived experience — of what it means to stay receptive to the Guru, moment by moment.

After offering my reflections in the book The Eternal Avadhut, it felt natural to step out from anonymity — not as an assertion of identity, but as an acceptance of responsibility. These words come from a real life, a real household, a real struggle to live spiritually in the midst of ordinary duties.

If something here resonates with you, may it not lead you to me — but inward, toward your own Guru, your own remembrance.

Jai Guru Datta.
Jai Shri Ganesh.
